Your screen will look a little different the first time you enter the Style Sample Report area: Before you have made any favorites or created your second, third or tenth sample request report. And even when copying one of your old favorites.

We will walk you through each scenario.

The first time you enter the Style Sample Report area with no reports yet - click on the big "+" icon to start creating your report.

If you already have created your first report, you must click on the Star icon to create new reports.

When you create a Style Sample Report you will be asked to select what data set you to want your Report to work on. If you are already familiar with the Custom Report - this is almost the same.

It will make sense for you to make some kind of pre-filter of the data set - otherwise, you can end up with huge reports.

Suppliers can make the reports they need. They will only be able to see the Custom Fields they are allowed to see.
And only the styles they have access to.

You can choose to include Archived Samples in your Report if you need that.

You can make selections on almost all types of Style data and all Custom Fields.

You can select which of the Style states you want to build your report on.

And you can decide which Sample Types you want in your report.

In case you use Dividers in your Custom Fields, these will appear in your pop-up and you can use them to expand or collapse any Custom Field section.

For some data option you can choose to filter on "blank". This will help you to find styles where you need to add data.
Just slide the "Include Blanks" to it's green and that option will be included.

When you work with the sample request, the option to filter on deadline comes in handy.

There are three different ways to filter on the deadline

  1. Deadline is due before X days from now
  2. Deadline is due after X days from now
  3. Deadline is due between X and Y days from now

And you can also include blank deadlines.

When you use the between two dates filter option - it is important to remember that you can also use a negative number of days.

SImply put a "-" in front of the first number and you will go back in time.

Now it's time for you to save your favorite.

Click on the save button and your report with the default columns will display.

The default columns are:

  • Style logo
  • Style name
  • Style number
  • Sample type
  • Status - that is the sample status
  • Quantity
  • Deadline
  • Etd

Add more columns to your report

When you want to create your next Style Sample Report, simply click on the little star icon.
The steps are the same as when you created your first report.

Add more columns to your report

If you already created the perfect report - you can copy it and reuse it in a new report.

Mouseover on the saved favorite you want to take a copy of.

Click on the tiny "Copy" icon.

Now you get the data set pop-up and you can give the copy a new name or change your data set.

In case you had added any extra columns these will also be in the copy you make.
