COLORS OVERVIEW
The colors overview is a library where you can create the colors that you are going to refer to in the sales and production orders. You will be able to specify more detailed colors about the items in the item details.
- Create Colors
- Rename Colors
- Use Color Note
- Deactivate a Color
- Integrate with ERP
- Extra settings
- Item Colors
1) Choose the sub-tab 'Colors' and click the 'Add style color' button
2) In the new table row, type in the color name - ID (ID2 if you are using this option) and Pantone fields are optional.
When adding the Pantone code, a colored swatch is displayed as you can see in the image below.
3) Click the small green save icon to save
RENAMING A STYLE COLOR
For each Color you can add a Color Note - here you can type in extra info - if you need it.
The Color Note will be exported when you export to XML or make an FTP export.
To do so, select the color you want to deactivate and uncheck the option 'ACTIVE'.

If you are going to make integration with an ERP provider, make sure that the IDs and style colors have the same structure as the ERP.
You have extra settings to set up your colors, depending on which module you have access to.
1) Also use this color library for items
2) Type ahead on Style color and Item Color:
- Search only on ID
- Search on Pantone number too
USE ID2
Admin or Color Admin can choose to use ID2 that some will need for integration with their ERP system. When this is selected this extra ID will appear in:
- the Color table
- Style color
- In Reports
You can set up so that only unique Color ID's are allowed.
Just set a checkmark in the checkbox "Use unique Color ID"
You have two options now:
- Only ID1 has to be unique
- The combination of ID1 and ID2 has to be unique
Then you will get a list of any colors that have duplicate ID's and you can edit them so there are no longer duplicates.

COLOR LIBRARY FOR ITEMS SETTING
When you check the 'Also use color library for Items' option, the system will display two messages to confirm your action. Simply click OK to proceed.
You will now have more options to choose from regarding Color Cards and a Type-ahead feature. Choose the option the suits your company/brand the best and click the small green button to save.
