CUSTOM FIELDS SETUP

When in need of extra fields to fill in data, simply add more custom fields. They are useful when making integration with any ERP system and where specific data has to be provided during data transfers.

Your company admin can set up and edit the needed custom fields either on a style or item level.

NOTE: If no custom fields are defined, they won't be in use.

CUSTOM FIELDS TYPES

You can set up three different types of custom fields: Date, Allowed values and Text.

An overview of your custom fields for both styles and items will be available in the Admin section, under the option 'Custom Fields'.
CREATING A CUSTOM FIELD

The process is the same when creating custom fields for Styles or Items.

1) Click the 'Add Custom Field' button and a pop-up window will appear

2) Choose the custom field type by clicking it

For all custom fields, these are the possible options:

1) ID which can be a combination of letters and numbers

2) Name (mandatory)

3) Internal use only - custom field won't be visible for suppliers.

NOTE: When changing this, a warning message will appear.

When internal is marked, this icon will show in the custom field row:

DEACTIVATE A CUSTOM FIELD

Like you deactivate groups, seasons and categories, you can also deactivate custom fields. When deactivated, they will no longer appear on any styles.

All custom field types have an 'ACTIVE' column. Simply mouse over the custom field row and click the blue edit icon - or double-click on the table row. When in edit mode, a pop-up window will appear where you can uncheck the option 'Active'

If you at a later stage reactivate a field, the previous data typed for a style will still appear.

INTEGRATION WITH YOUR ERP

If you are going to make integration with an ERP provider, make sure that the custom fields have the same structure as the ERP.

EDITING A CUSTOM FIELD (ADMIN)

You can edit your custom fields whenever necessary.
Simply mouse over the custom field row and click the blue edit icon - or double-click on the table row.

When in edit mode, a pop-up window will appear where you can change the name of the custom field, for example.

CUSTOM FIELDS PER COLOR (STYLES) ADD-ON MODULE

If you have acquired the 'Custom Fields per color' add-on module, the option 'Diff. per color' will be visible. This allows you to set up which of your style custom fields should have different values per color.

To enable this option, click the checkbox the 'Diff. per color' on each of the three custom fields types.

When this option is sat it will be possible to give differentiated values for any specific custom field on a style - read more about it here.
